Kelsey Asbille Chow: A Versatile American Actress with Notable Roles in Film and Television

Kelsey Asbille Chow, born on September 9, 1991, is an American actress known for her versatile performances in film and television. She gained recognition for her role as Mikayla in the Disney XD sitcom “Pair of Kings.” From 2005 to 2009, she portrayed Gigi Silveri in the drama series “One Tree Hill.” In MTV’s “Teen Wolf,” she played the character Tracy Stewart from 2015 to 2016.

Chow was born in Columbia, South Carolina, to a Chinese father and an American mother. Her father’s parents were Chinese immigrants, while her mother’s heritage includes White and Indigenous American ancestry. In 2010, she expressed a desire to improve her fluency in Mandarin Chinese and her ability to read traditional Chinese characters. She has two younger siblings, a brother who is two years younger and a sister who is eight years younger.

Kelsey Chow attended Hammond School in Columbia, South Carolina, for high school. While she currently resides in Los Angeles, California, she primarily lives in New York City, where she attends Columbia University.

Chow’s acting journey began with community theater, and she landed her first television role at the age of 13, playing Gigi Silveri on “One Tree Hill” from 2005 to 2009. She also had guest appearances on “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” in 2008 and co-starred in the Disney Channel original film “Den Brother.”

From 2010 to 2013, Chow co-starred as Mikayla in the Disney XD original series “Pair of Kings.” She then appeared in small roles in films such as “The Amazing Spider-Man” (2012) and “Run” (2013). In 2014, she was cast in the Fox drama series “Hieroglyph,” although the show was canceled before its premiere.

Chow’s talent extended to the music industry, as she appeared in the music video for Hayley Kiyoko’s song “Girls Like Girls.” She reprised her role as Tracy Stewart in the fifth season of “Teen Wolf” in 2015 and continued in the role for part two, which aired in 2016.

Notably, for her performances in “Wind River” and “Yellowstone,” where she portrayed Native American characters, she used the name Kelsey Asbille.
